A box with wings

We were talking about defining ourselves, about marriage, about finding that one person out there who could possible be for us.

He sensed my questions, my desire to redefine.

"But, Mimi, you know who you are," he said. "There's no question."

He encouraged me not to get sidetracked by other people imposing their definitions, or lack thereof.

"But I'm just not in the box, I can't take it," I complained.

"Oh, yes you are," he said.

He told me, "Mimi, you're in a box. But its a box with wings."

As soon as he said it, I was breathing a little easier.

If I give myself wings, I can take this.

So that's what I'm going to do.

Thank you to my office visitor today.

You came unannounced.

At exactly the right time.

he's always there at the right time, but in my eyes you already have the wings, just keep on thinking positive, everything will work out, i promise, as the rebbe said "Tracht Gut Vet Zein Gut" and believe me it's true, you just have to believe it. keep up your inspiring writings and keep inspiring the world and the people around you

And that is what Chassidus is! A box with wings!!

Yes, we have our rules, and they are strict. But Chassidus is also our wings; what enables us to fly above the mundane.

Your office visitor knows what he is talking about - I was about to guess his initials but the person I am thinking of would need to get in a metallic, rounded box with wings for about three hours and then take a taxi from JFK or LaGuardia to get to your office :).

A few clowns who are living in keter elyone (physically, not spiritually) should have wings strapped to them so that they fly far, far away and take their machloikes, gezel, mirma and other shtick with them!!!!! :) :) :)

A beautiful post.
You know what a box with wings is?
A Box kite. Tie your strings down tight, then fly in the wind . . . the skies the limit.

ML- Apparently you've never flown a kite before ...
